The Sinclair Lewis Mural is located on the north side of the historic Palmer House Hotel.
Muralists Roger Reinardy and Mike Weisser painted the mural in June of 2017, taking only three weeks to complete it.

Roger had wanted to depict Sinclair Lewis in an airy, sepia-like manner. He liked the idea of this tying in with the ghost reputation of the Palmer House Hotel, as some like to think Sinclair Lewis still “haunts” the hotel.
